Melody's Birthday

We have had a string of birthdays while we've been back in Utah! Four days from now is my sister Melody's turn. Sharon and I would like to get together with Doug and Melody, and our brother Mike, and go out to dinner.

Melody thinks that would be nice, and I hope we get it planned. We are all so busy, some plans are just that, plans. If it doesn't get done around her birthday, I'm going to try and do something when we get back from Arizona, in three weeks.

Idaho Trip - Tomorrow

The day has finally come! We've been talking about this for about three months now. We will be in Rexburg tomorrow, to see the family.

One thing I really want to do is look for my uncle Dee's home where he was born. It is right in the middle of town, and is now being used as a wedding place named, "White Elegance."

I've told Mike to look for it, because uncle Dee says it is easy to find, but Mike hasn't had time yet. It's on the list, we'll see it soon.

Idaho Trip Soon

Mike and I are planning to take a trip to Idaho next week. It has only been a few weeks since we saw them last, but it will be nice to see them. I saw Susan and the kids the day they left to move to Idaho, but I haven't seen Mike since Mother's Day.

We will make another tip there in August some time for a whole family reunion. What a ball that will be!

There home is large, and sits on almost 2 acres. There is a chicken coop, and a horse stall. Not really a barn from what I've heard. They keep changing their minds on whether or not to have a horse. They cost a lot of money, and they cost a lot of money to keep healthy. For right now I think the answer is no.

There driveway is huge! Susan showed Kim and I pictures of the home on the computer, and it looks like the whole family can park in the driveway.

Ingram's Have Moved

Mike has been living in Rexburg, Idaho now for about a month. Susan and the kids finished packing things up, and moved the day after school let out.

Mike and I went down and helped a little by packing the large moving trailer they bought from one of the neighbors.

I felt so sorry for Andrew. His best friend Codiac, was standing there watching us doing the last minute things. I'd had heard his name a million times before, but had never met him. I seriously, thought I was talking to a girl. His hair is long! Well, I guess you can see that. Mike told me when we drove away - that he thought he was a girl also.

Poor Andrew. I hope - no I know - he will make lots of friends in Idaho!

I Am Doing Better On My Diet!

I have gotten into so much trouble eating foods my body can not tolerate, and I have really stuck to my diet since we went to Hawaii. I had been doing well before then, because it really scarred me when I landed in the hospital last April.

I got to Hawaii and lost my conscience! I ate siamin noodles at the Hale Koa, and a Hawaiian donut. Okay two Hawaiian donuts. But it was on the plane that I really messed up. I don't know why they bother to feed people at all, if all they are going to give us is Oreo cookies, crackers and cheese, raisins and nuts. The raisins and nuts were fine. I should have given the cookies and crackers to Mike, but like a dummy, I didn't.

I have seriously did better than I have ever done! I haven't had any wheat not for four weeks! And, I don't intend to fall off the wagon again!

Vacations!

We are looking forward to the next trip which is to Idaho to see the kids in three short weeks. It seems like our lives are one long vacation now. We love it! After we get home from Idaho it will only be another three week and we are going to Arizona, and then three weeks from that time we are going back to Idaho for a family reunion.

In September we have a two-week vacation planned. We are flying into Kansas City, renting a car, and going on a church history trip. We are doing it by ourselves, not on a tour. They get up too early for me, and I have to have special food to eat. I also have to rest and can't be on schedule that can't be changed. The schedule we have planned will probably be too much for me.

I have recently learned of something that might help my health though. I'm not going to talk about it right now though, because I haven't learned enough about it. I have been using it for the past week and I for sure have more strength.

I will learn more about it soon and let you know. It is a homeopathic remedy, I can tell you that much.

Darn! Our Hawaii Trip Is Over!

This view was off our lanai at our hotel. We loved sitting on it morning and night.

I felt so well the whole trip! I hadn't felt well right up until the day we left, but as soon as the plane was in the air, I felt fine. I'm sure the 6 hour flight helped because I had to rest. We watched two movies on the plane, and it is a long time, but we had books to read and things to help pass the time.

Our last two days there we spent going to the many beaches on the north shore. We planned on going to the temple and doing a session, but somehow beaches were higher on the list. Our next trip to Hawaii, we we for sure go to the temple. I needed to see the beaches that I loved 30 years ago. It was important for me to see the places and do the things I did before.

I did mess up my diet while I was in Hawaii though. Cheated a bit to much! I'm paying for it, and will probably not be doing that for a long, long, time! Feeling well is getting to be a very high priority for me.
