Mercy

Speaking of Mercy. This is Mercy my great-niece who I will miss seeing. I will miss all of my Arizona family. I'm glad they are coming to Utah in June so we can be together.

Mike says we are coming back here either July or August, to check on our home and see how our plants and trees are doing. We want to make sure the house is ok too. It will be 112 degrees or hotter. And we have heard horror stories of how the heat can hurt the cabinets, and even shrink new carpet. We have new carpet!

Excited For Ingram's Visit

Mike and Susan are coming and I can't wait. I'm glad that the Arizona is big enough to accommodate company. We did that on purpose. We knew we needed a larger home here, and because it's a modular home, we can have a large home for less money.

Our condo in Utah is small only 1020 sq ft. The Arizona home is 1680, plus it has a 500 sq ft. Arizona, screened room. The smaller condo cost $6000 more than the Arizona home!

We don't need sleeping room in Utah, because our family lives there. We had two bedrooms, which is enough for occasional company. The Arizona home has 3 bedrooms, and there are many months of the year that someone could sleep in the Arizona room.

Anyway, we are happy to have company!

10 Kids For Real

We really do have 10 kids. And it isn't true that 10 kids is enough, as my blog says.

I wasn't responsible for bringing all of them into the world though. My first husband and I had four children. Two boys: Kenny and Mike, and two girls: Cari, and Kim.

Mike and his first wife had 6 children. Christine, Stephen, Sherri, Amy, Lisa, and Brian. I had the wonderful privilege of helping to raise them.

When I married Mike, Chris was just graduating from high school. I can't say I raised her. She lived with us until she was 25, so it sort of feels like I raised her. Stephen pasted away 6 months before Mike and I married. I'll talk about that later. Sherri was fourteen, Amy 12, Lisa 11, and little Brian was 7.

It was the best of time. It was the worst of time. As is the first two sentences in my favorite book, Tale Of Two Cities. More about that later too. . .

Welcome To My Blog On Family

Welcome to my world. My dear husband Mike is worried that our whole life is one the web. He thinks I'm telling secret stuff about our lives that he wouldn't want other people to know about. Would I do that? Well, maybe. It depends on whether it was funny of not. I wouldn't really tell things out of school, that I wasn't supposed to tell. At least I don't think I would. We'll, just have to wait and see. Won't we?
